Dr. Marc A. Meyers has over 20 years industrial experience in food and wellness ingredients; and over 35 patents to his credit in encapsulation technology, edible films, flavor technology, hydrocolloids and novel confectionery applications.

Access to pilot-scale and full-scale development facilities are within an hour of our location, helping to keep travel costs to a minimum.

For encapsulation prototype development, MEYERS CONSULTING, LLC works with a well-respected European R&D encapsulation development lab.  They also have access to equipment suppliers and university pilot plants to evaluate all commercially viable encapsulation methods.  We are their North American representative for encapsulation R&D services.

Dr. Meyers routinely works with web-based oganizations such as yourencore.com, ninesigma.com, innocentive.com and other organizations as part of their Open Innovation communities to assist small domestic to major multi-national CPG companies.

Dr. Meyers currently lectures at Rutgers University's Department of Food Science on Nutraceuticals, Functional Foods and Dietary Supplements. Dr. Meyers also teaches Food and Nutrition classes at Drexel University, Hunter College-CUNY in New York City and Mercer County College in NJ.

Dr. Meyers is also currently an Adjunct Professor of Food Science at Montclair State University teaching Food and Nutrition classes and labs.  His association with the University allows him access to their Food Lab and state-of-the-art Culinary Kitchen and interactive classroom and student technicians.
